1. ROLEPLAY:
(We aim for ORGANIC ROLEPLAY. AVOID “Rule” And “Loot” Play)
1.1 NO “KILL ON SIGHT”
- Killing on sight is killing without prior RP initiation. This does not mean you can kill them after saying something simple like “hello.” There must be a valid reason to kill somebody.
1.2 NO “META GAME”
-No taking information learned out of game or from a previous character. If you’re a new character you are not allowed to know anything from the previous character. If you learn anything out of game you cannot use it in game.
1.3 NO “POWER GAME”
-No forcing people into situations they can’t recover from, ex: cutting off the players tongue. Before an action like this can be performed you must ask the victim in chat for permission. //permission to cut off a finger. and answered with //yes. (Forcing someone to RP their character differently the remainder of their life needs to be consented upon.)
1.4 During a hostile situation, you must “VALUE YOUR LIFE”
-While being held up or in a gunfight, maintain your value for life. Do not go out guns blazing or try to fight your way out with a knife when this seems like an unrealistic outcome for your survival. Attempting to fight a much larger group than yourself can also be considered not valuing your life.
1.5 “NEW LIFE RULE”
-Whenever you die, you can't remember any events leading up to your death. You may not return to any previous situations you may have been involved in. Example, if you are raided and you die in the raid, you are not allowed to join back into the fight. You are dead to them and therefore cannot retaliate.
1.6 “STAY IN CHARACTER”
-Do not talk out of character. Ex: telling people you're lagging or that you like the server. You can only break character for emergencies. Common phrases most use are “I have a headache”, for lag or “I need to talk in my head for a second,” if going AFK.(edited)

1.7 DO NOT “COMBAT LOG”
-If you run into a hostile interaction or are in a gunfight you are NOT allowed to log out of the game. This is combat logging, the only exception is emergency.

-You cannot pretend to be someone else's character if you’ve not met them. (You wouldn’t be familiar with how the character should be played.
-You cannot pretend to be an admin under any circumstance.

-Griefing is the act of destroying, blocking or despawning a player built structure, vehicle or storage without a valid Roleplay reason to do so.
-Griefing can also be construed as taking actions they have done in character and bantering about it in Discord. If it gets out of hand it can and will be considered Harassment which is a bannable offense.
1.10 No use of the Discord Radio channel without a radio in game.
-You are not allowed to disclose your location or situation to anyone you’re in a call with, without a working radio on your character. This also goes for Direct Messages of telling people where you are as this falls into the Metagaming section provided above.
-You are not allowed to have your discord up while in a roleplay situation with people outside of your own group.
-If you are in a voice channel in the server you MUST be muted AND deafened while in an active RP situation.

-Even if you’re in a Discord voice call, if you are on the server you must use VOIP. There is no excuse for not Roleplaying with your friends in game while in a discord call, while it can easily be done in game. Not doing so can be grounds for avoiding RP as people going near or by your group could listen in to what is being talked about instead of nothing.
1.12 Valid “CHARACTER NAME”
-You must have your character’s name in your discord name. I.e. (John Doe(Maxim Carlen) If you do not have this you will be kicked until you have changed your name.
1.13 DO NOT MENTION OTHER SERVERS.
-You are allowed to have the same name from another server and remember faction members but ONLY if you were in the same faction/are in the same faction now. Not everybody you may know from elsewhere will be a familiar character. -You may not have any other memories from other servers involving players on this server.
1.14 KOS ZONES
-KOS Zones are marked with a red circle and you are allowed to KOS inside these zones only.
-What happens inside a KOS zone stays inside the KOS Zone. Do not take this out of the zone and retaliate because you died inside a KOS zone. You cannot roleplay anything related to a KOS zone death.
-No “camping” outside KOS zones.
-You must be recording at all times while in the KOS zone.
1.15 PDA USAGE
-You must meet people to add people to your PDA.
-Global chat of PDA may NOT be used to talk out of character.

2. HOSTILITIES:

-Initiation is done by clearly stating “Put your hands up.” or in any way clear enough for the victim to understand they are initiated on. This can only be done in VOIP, if the player does not act upon this you can state this again while adding //put your hands up in chat. After a second time and the victim not responding are you allowed to take action. Preferably without killing them.
-Aiming a gun at somebody is considered initiation, do so at your own risk. You cannot exploit this rule by having a friend in the distance to snipe. You MUST be in earshot of the situation and physically involved.
-You cannot leave your victim without the means to survive. Example; leaving them completely naked, or without shoes. They must have a chance to survive the next 20 minutes.
-To initiate on a moving vehicle you MUST perform a roadblock and use a megaphone. A stationary vehicle can be initiated without a roadblock or megaphone.
2.2 Hostile situations must have “ROLEPLAY”
-For both the victim and the aggressor the situation must involve Roleplay. Both sides have to actively participate in the situation. You may reach out via direct messaging to the player about the details if you so wish to. If it makes any side uncomfortable. Type //I don’t like this. in chat.
-If it involves Sexual or Racist themes, report this immediately in a ticket, you are only allowed to combat log in one of the two situations posted above.
-Keep in mind that if you, as a victim, have agreed to any hostile rp, and for example lost a finger. You have to roleplay this out with your character. -Throwing a toxic grenade is initiation and considered KOS.
-If you manage to unsuccessfully retaliate properly in that time you forfeit those immediate rights and must now follow the rules of being a Hostile party and having to initiate on the member(s) before you are able to do any sort of hostile act to them.
-There is no hostile roleplay allowed within 300m of the General Trader.
-To initiate a hostile interaction, you must make verbal commands.
-If you are a victim of hostile roleplay, you have options available to you as follows:
Once the bandit has initiated, you may fire upon them so long as it falls within the “Value Your Life” rules listed below. (Basically if it is a 1v1 interaction).
You can also comply with their commands and save your life.
-As the bandit, you must record any and all hostile interactions you initiate. It is also a great idea as the victim to start recording to better assist staff with a potential ticket.
-You may not leave your victim to die. This means, the bandit needs to make sure the victim can survive with meds and food they already had on their body.
-The only time the bandit may fire their weapon is if the victim raises their gun at the bandit or does not comply with commands within 30 seconds.
-As noted above, as the victim, you must comply with any commands within 30 seconds or you may die.
-Victims do not have to give specific information such as base codes during a hostile interaction. They can simply say, “I am not providing you with that info”.
-If you are having technical difficulties as the victim (i.e. microphone not working or do not know how to put your hands up), you must type in text chat and let the bandits know.
-If we see you consistently abusing text chat to avoid hostile RP, this is a bannable offense.
-If you are engaging in a hostile act, you must know that backup may/will be called and you can be shot at with no interaction to defend other's lives. Attackers must still initiate on passerbyers to avoid killing innocent people.
- If they are handcuffed, remove them before restart as this will kill them.
-You are NOT allowed to take a player's vehicle unless they are not cooperating and die from being reckless in the hostile interaction.

3. PERMADEATHS
(A perma death is when a character is killed off permanently dies in the roleplay universe and CANNOT be roleplayed any further.)
3.1 People are free to continue their characters lives if they die from environmental reasons
(Ex: They get slapped up by a zombie, fall off a cliff, etc.)
3.2 It is encouraged to permanently kill your character off if a hostile RP has happened with a group of people to keep the immersion going.
(Ex: You were taken hostage with your friend and you were tortured and executed in front of your friend. To them their RP continues and you’ve died. If you then come back after that group has RP’d you dying it ruins that whole situation they had.)
3.3 REQUESTING PERMADEATHS
-Someone can put in a request ticket to permanently kill your character off if they have enough RP reasons.
(Ex: You have been harassing their group for extensive periods and robbing them.
A valid reason is not something petty such as “they stole peaches off of me.)

3.4 STATE APPROVAL TO VICTIM
-If someone has gotten an approved permadeath on your character they MUST tell you that they’ve gotten permission to permanently end your life in the RP so you are aware that it is expected to be permanent.
-If you’re the victim, please submit a ticket in discord to confirm the approval of the permadeath to prevent abuse of this system.
3.5 GIVE REASONS TO VICTIM
-The person with the permadeath on your character MUST also tell you the reasons behind the perma death.
(Ex: You will die today by my hands because you kicked my child in the head and stole all of our belongings leaving us defenseless and almost dead. This is my revenge.)
3.6 NO GRIEFING AFTER DEATH
-After your character has died you are not allowed to make a new one with any memories of the previous character or the situation of what happened. Meaning you are not allowed to be hostile, take revenge, etc of the people who killed your previous character. This breaks our new life, no griefing and META rules.

4. BASE RAIDING:
(Base raiding will have the same rules as any hostile situation, plus a few extra to clarify.)
4.1 No “OFFLINE BASE RAIDING”
-You are only allowed to raid a base if the players owning it are online and present. This will need an initiation just as any hostile situation.
4.2 Having a “SECURE BASE”
-A secure base has no way of entering without using a glitch. Lockpicks are not a valid way to secure a base.
4.3 INITIATING BASE RAID
-To initiate a raid, you must follow these steps:
-Submit a base raiding ticket to have your raid approved by admins. We check the victim’s last raid date, the roleplay reason, and make sure everything is being followed per the rules. Once approved by an admin, continue to the next steps.
-You must have a roleplay reason first and foremost. If you are going around raiding with no roleplay, this is a bannable offense.
-You must be in a faction to raid, therefore, no solo raiding.
-You must verify the victims are at their base and able to defend themselves.
-Once at the base, you must announce your presence with a megaphone and let it be known you are coming in.

-To gain access to their base, you must saw off each code lock with a hacksaw.
-You must give them the chance to surrender. If they surrender, the victims may leave and stay alive. If they choose not to surrender, they can fight back.
-All base raids must be recorded from start to finish by whoever is leading the raid. If you do not have a video that clearly shows it is within the rules, you may be banned.
-You may only take what you can fit on your body and in your vehicle. You may not return to the raid to grab more items.
-You are not allowed to vault yourself over a wall by using any object other than a vehicle or a vanilla object, such as a rock.
-You must return the hacksaw after the raid is completed
-As a victim of a base raid, you must acknowledge their presence and roleplay the situation. You may shoot them off once they announce their raid or you can choose to surrender. It is in your best interest to start recording on your end as well.
-Victims have 72 hours to rebuild their base until ANYONE on the server can raid them again.(edited)

4.4 “UNSECURE BASE RAIDING”
-Unsecured base raiding is when you are able to gain access to a base that is not secure. This includes but is not limited to, crawling through an open window, walking through an unsecured door. Building, glitching into, or clipping through a window or door to gain access is not allowed and is bannable.
-If you do find a base that is not secure and can get in easily, it is considered fair game.
-You may not saw off any codelocks whatsoever during an unsecured base raid.
-You may only take what you have access to.
-You may only jump over a wall by foot. You may not use any object whatsoever in an unsecured base raid.
-You may not enter a base if the victim has just opened their door and you sneak in. You must give them time to shut (secure) their door. This will not be considered an unsecured base raid.
-You must record all unsecured base raids as staff may ask to see them.
-You cannot boost with another player to get over a wall.

5. BASES:
The following rules are for building a base, either as an individual or as a group.
You are not allowed to block off any water wells or essential areas in the game for any reason. Nor are you able to build in any military area or helicopter crash site or within 300m of either. You are not allowed to build within 400 meters of the trader.
5.1 Base building for “SINGLE PLAYERS”
-As an individual you are allowed to have 3 codelocks, only one structure as a base or up to a 2x2 or a 1x2 (two floors).
5.2 Base building for “GROUPS”
-As a group larger than 1 player, but less than 6, you are allowed to have 2 codelocks per person, only two structures or have a 3x3 or any variant of six squares.
5.3 Base building for “FACTIONS”
-A faction is a player group bigger than 6 players with a max of 20 players, they are allowed to have 2 codelocks per person, and up to 6x6. If your faction wishes to have more than one structure, or a small compound/town please submit a ticket for Staff to begin processing your request. If you are in a group or faction you cannot build in different areas, only in the designated area for your faction or group.
5.4 Garages
-You may have a 1x1 extension for your vehicle. This means if you are a group it can be a 2x2 and a faction a 3x3.

6. VEHICLES
6.1 LIMITS
-You can only have one vehicle as a solo player, two per group and three for a faction. Any more and we will have you decide which vehicle to sell or have deleted.
-If we find you exploiting the limits we will delete the excess vehicles you will get one warning and after that we will delete the excess vehicles.
6.2 KEYS
- To avoid having your vehicle stolen, purchase a key from The ChopShop.
- You can have as many duplicate keys as you want.
6.3 STEALING
-You are NOT allowed to steal another player's vehicle or key in a hostile interaction unless they haven’t cooperated and died from their actions. You may take items out of the car. THIS MUST BE RECORDED TO BE VALID.
-If you come across an unlocked vehicle you may steal it and/or whatever is inside of it.
6.4 GRIEFING
-Do not damage other players vehicles for any reason unless in a hostile interaction where you have followed the initiation rules of vehicles.(edited)

6.5 COVERS
-You must have your vehicles covered at all times when the vehicle is not in use (unless it is a very quick pitstop.)
-If an admin has to cover your vehicle more than once we will impound it, you will need to pay an impoundment fee and come pick it up from the ChopShop.
-If you continue to not cover your vehicle we will delete it and you will not be compensated, you will need to buy another one.
-You are allowed to uncover another person's vehicle to see if it is unlocked.
-You MUST recover the vehicle after you’ve checked to see if it is unlocked. If we catch you did not recover the vehicle you will receive one warning and the next will be a temporary ban. Repeated offenses will result in a permanent ban.
6.6 COMPENSATION
-In order to be compensated at any time you MUST have a recording of the incident.
-We will not compensate for anything due to user error.
-We will not compensate you for a lost key. (Locked out of the vehicle.)
-You will be responsible for protecting the vehicle or selling it.
-If your vehicle was stolen with any rules broken you can receive compensation so long as there is a recording.
6.7 STUCK
-If you get stuck or flip, we recommend using an improvised shelter. Put the car in neutral and place the shelter under the car to move it.

7. FACTION WARS
(Faction wars are a faction vs. faction event and are wars with possible permadeaths.)
7.1 HOW TO FACTION WAR.
-You must put a ticket in and have it approved for a faction war to start.
-You are not allowed to apply for a faction war if you are not a faction (6+ people.)
-IF you die in a firefight you CANNOT return to the scene/interaction.
7.2 KOS during faction war
-You MUST positively identify the person as being part of the enemy faction.
-KOS upon positive ID of enemy faction - Recommend recording all encounters to verify you had identified them prior to opening fire.
-KOS of civilians can lead to IC and OOC penalties.
-Suicide attacks will result in permadeath of your character as the attacker.
-DEFENSIVE LANDMINES/TRIPWIRES are allowed but have to be DISARMED after leaving “YOU ARE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR YOU YOUR MINE KILLS”
7.3Positive ID
-Positive identification consists of (ARMBAND) or (faction specific clothing) I.E wraith mask or custom made clothing that has a faction logo on it.
7.4 Faction clothing.
-You MUST be wearing FACTIONS ITEMS upon firing at enemy faction members.
-You're allowed to change out of faction items after breaking line of sight of enemy faction members but expect to be stopped and searched.
7.5 General Player info
-Server bulletins will be posted when a war has started.
-Civilians who enter ACTIVE warzones (I.E CROSSFIRE) can expect negative/HOSTILE RP
-Active war zones are marked on the map.
8.0 STALKER CLOTHING
-Due to popular demand, stalker clothing is spawning in game. However, it is buggy. If your clothing will not go back on once you've taken it off it is ruined even if it doesn't say "ruined."
-We will not be compensating clothing from this mod.

(Ex: You will die today by my hands because you kicked my child in the head and stole all of our belongings leaving us defenseless and almost dead. This is my revenge.)
3.6 NO GRIEFING AFTER DEATH
-After your character has died you are not allowed to make a new one with any memories of the previous character or the situation of what happened. Meaning you are not allowed to be hostile, take revenge, etc of the people who killed your previous character. This breaks our new life, no griefing and META rules.

4. BASE RAIDING:
(Base raiding will have the same rules as any hostile situation, plus a few extra to clarify.)
4.1 No “OFFLINE BASE RAIDING”
-You are only allowed to raid a base if the players owning it are online and present. This will need an initiation just as any hostile situation.
4.2 Having a “SECURE BASE”
-A secure base has no way of entering without using a glitch. Lockpicks are not a valid way to secure a base.
4.3 INITIATING BASE RAID
-To initiate a raid, you must follow these steps:
-Submit a base raiding ticket to have your raid approved by admins. We check the victim’s last raid date, the roleplay reason, and make sure everything is being followed per the rules. Once approved by an admin, continue to the next steps.
-You must have a roleplay reason first and foremost. If you are going around raiding with no roleplay, this is a bannable offense.
-You must be in a faction to raid, therefore, no solo raiding.
-You must verify the victims are at their base and able to defend themselves.
-Once at the base, you must announce your presence with a megaphone and let it be known you are coming in.

-To gain access to their base, you must saw off each code lock with a hacksaw.
-You must give them the chance to surrender. If they surrender, the victims may leave and stay alive. If they choose not to surrender, they can fight back.
-All base raids must be recorded from start to finish by whoever is leading the raid. If you do not have a video that clearly shows it is within the rules, you may be banned.
-You may only take what you can fit on your body and in your vehicle. You may not return to the raid to grab more items.
-You are not allowed to vault yourself over a wall by using any object other than a vehicle or a vanilla object, such as a rock.
-You must return the hacksaw after the raid is completed
-As a victim of a base raid, you must acknowledge their presence and roleplay the situation. You may shoot them off once they announce their raid or you can choose to surrender. It is in your best interest to start recording on your end as well.
-Victims have 72 hours to rebuild their base until ANYONE on the server can raid them again.(edited)

4.4 “UNSECURE BASE RAIDING”
-Unsecured base raiding is when you are able to gain access to a base that is not secure. This includes but is not limited to, crawling through an open window, walking through an unsecured door. Building, glitching into, or clipping through a window or door to gain access is not allowed and is bannable.
-If you do find a base that is not secure and can get in easily, it is considered fair game.
-You may not saw off any codelocks whatsoever during an unsecured base raid.
-You may only take what you have access to.
-You may only jump over a wall by foot. You may not use any object whatsoever in an unsecured base raid.
-You may not enter a base if the victim has just opened their door and you sneak in. You must give them time to shut (secure) their door. This will not be considered an unsecured base raid.
-You must record all unsecured base raids as staff may ask to see them.
-You cannot boost with another player to get over a wall.

5. BASES:
The following rules are for building a base, either as an individual or as a group.
You are not allowed to block off any water wells or essential areas in the game for any reason. Nor are you able to build in any military area or helicopter crash site or within 300m of either. You are not allowed to build within 400 meters of the trader.
5.1 Base building for “SINGLE PLAYERS”
-As an individual you are allowed to have 3 codelocks, only one structure as a base or up to a 2x2 or a 1x2 (two floors).
5.2 Base building for “GROUPS”
-As a group larger than 1 player, but less than 6, you are allowed to have 2 codelocks per person, only two structures or have a 3x3 or any variant of six squares.
5.3 Base building for “FACTIONS”
-A faction is a player group bigger than 6 players with a max of 20 players, they are allowed to have 2 codelocks per person, and up to 6x6. If your faction wishes to have more than one structure, or a small compound/town please submit a ticket for Staff to begin processing your request. If you are in a group or faction you cannot build in different areas, only in the designated area for your faction or group.
5.4 Garages
-You may have a 1x1 extension for your vehicle. This means if you are a group it can be a 2x2 and a faction a 3x3.

6. VEHICLES
6.1 LIMITS
-You can only have one vehicle as a solo player, two per group and three for a faction. Any more and we will have you decide which vehicle to sell or have deleted.
-If we find you exploiting the limits we will delete the excess vehicles you will get one warning and after that we will delete the excess vehicles.
6.2 KEYS
- To avoid having your vehicle stolen, purchase a key from The ChopShop.
- You can have as many duplicate keys as you want.
6.3 STEALING
-You are NOT allowed to steal another player's vehicle or key in a hostile interaction unless they haven’t cooperated and died from their actions. You may take items out of the car. THIS MUST BE RECORDED TO BE VALID.
-If you come across an unlocked vehicle you may steal it and/or whatever is inside of it.
6.4 GRIEFING
-Do not damage other players vehicles for any reason unless in a hostile interaction where you have followed the initiation rules of vehicles.(edited)

6.5 COVERS
-You must have your vehicles covered at all times when the vehicle is not in use (unless it is a very quick pitstop.)
-If an admin has to cover your vehicle more than once we will impound it, you will need to pay an impoundment fee and come pick it up from the ChopShop.
-If you continue to not cover your vehicle we will delete it and you will not be compensated, you will need to buy another one.
-You are allowed to uncover another person's vehicle to see if it is unlocked.
-You MUST recover the vehicle after you’ve checked to see if it is unlocked. If we catch you did not recover the vehicle you will receive one warning and the next will be a temporary ban. Repeated offenses will result in a permanent ban.
6.6 COMPENSATION
-In order to be compensated at any time you MUST have a recording of the incident.
-We will not compensate for anything due to user error.
-We will not compensate you for a lost key. (Locked out of the vehicle.)
-You will be responsible for protecting the vehicle or selling it.
-If your vehicle was stolen with any rules broken you can receive compensation so long as there is a recording.
6.7 STUCK
-If you get stuck or flip, we recommend using an improvised shelter. Put the car in neutral and place the shelter under the car to move it.

7. FACTION WARS
(Faction wars are a faction vs. faction event and are wars with possible permadeaths.)
7.1 HOW TO FACTION WAR.
-You must put a ticket in and have it approved for a faction war to start.
-You are not allowed to apply for a faction war if you are not a faction (6+ people.)
-IF you die in a firefight you CANNOT return to the scene/interaction.
7.2 KOS during faction war
-You MUST positively identify the person as being part of the enemy faction.
-KOS upon positive ID of enemy faction - Recommend recording all encounters to verify you had identified them prior to opening fire.
-KOS of civilians can lead to IC and OOC penalties.
-Suicide attacks will result in permadeath of your character as the attacker.
-DEFENSIVE LANDMINES/TRIPWIRES are allowed but have to be DISARMED after leaving “YOU ARE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR YOU YOUR MINE KILLS”
7.3Positive ID
-Positive identification consists of (ARMBAND) or (faction specific clothing) I.E wraith mask or custom made clothing that has a faction logo on it.
7.4 Faction clothing.
-You MUST be wearing FACTIONS ITEMS upon firing at enemy faction members.
-You're allowed to change out of faction items after breaking line of sight of enemy faction members but expect to be stopped and searched.
7.5 General Player info
-Server bulletins will be posted when a war has started.
-Civilians who enter ACTIVE warzones (I.E CROSSFIRE) can expect negative/HOSTILE RP
-Active war zones are marked on the map.
8.0 STALKER CLOTHING
-Due to popular demand, stalker clothing is spawning in game. However, it is buggy. If your clothing will not go back on once you've taken it off it is ruined even if it doesn't say "ruined."
-We will not be compensating clothing from this mod.
